A Perfect Phi Phi Day

A calm, flexible day from first coffee to a quieter evening — designed around the advantage of already being on the island.

Keep it flexible. Weather, sea conditions and national-park access can change. Confirm any boat plan on the day and leave room to slow down.

Morning · Start before the boats

Begin at Aroi Café for coffee and breakfast while Tonsai Village is still quiet. Aroi is halal-friendly — no pork and no lard — but it is not a certified halal kitchen.

Late morning · Use the island advantage

Choose a viewpoint walk or ask a trusted captain about an early island route. For Maya Bay, check the day’s park access, sea conditions and swimming rules before leaving.

Lunch · Eat where island families eat

Head to The Locals at Rimna Plaza for Southern Thai curry-over-rice from a halal-certified kitchen. The Locals and Aroi have different halal status, and this guide keeps that distinction clear.

Afternoon · Recover properly

After a climb, dive or boat day, slow down at Highseason Thai Massage & Beauty Treatments. For nail care in an air-conditioned room with sterilised tools, Mani:Pedi:Care is nearby.

Evening · Choose your own pace

Return to Aroi for an easy meal, or find the staircase above the Shark Cage Bar for Scubar: The Third Chapter — a speakeasy-style room without buckets or fire shows.

The safety net

Highseason Wellness Clinic is open from 8 AM to midnight. It is not a 24-hour clinic, and serious cases transfer to Phuket.

Highseason Cannabis: wellness only, for adults aged 20 and over, with ID required. It is not part of the nightlife itinerary.

The Perfect Phi Phi Day — booked end to end

Rather not organise it yourself? We run this exact day as one private booking, designed and hosted by the family that lives here. 2,990 THB per person, minimum 2 people.

Included: private longtail for 3 hours (Maya Bay, Pileh Lagoon, Loh Samah) · snorkel gear and life jackets · halal-certified lunch set at The Locals · 60-minute traditional Thai massage at Highseason · drinking water on board · WhatsApp concierge from booking until you leave the island.
Not included: 400 THB national park fee, paid in cash at the bay · ferries to and from Koh Phi Phi · accommodation.

The 6 AM start is the whole advantage of already being on the island — tour boats from Phuket arrive from about 10 AM. Maya Bay closes annually for restoration (recently September–October); during closure we run the same day via Bamboo Island and the lagoons.

Pay a small deposit to confirm, balance in cash or Thai QR on the day. Free cancellation up to 48 hours before. Rough seas are the captain's call — we reschedule or refund in full.
